Interlude is a clothing company that provides original designs and branded fashion apparel for urban youth who stands out amongst the greatest, the trendsetters and go getters. The company was founded in 2019 by Mnqobi "Vinylking" Shange in South Beach, Durban, South Africa, started operating in 2021. It is defined as a premium streetwear clothing brand. In the beginning the name was BORN IN DURBAN (inspired by the FACT DURBAN ROCKS merch) before it was changed to INTERLUDE in 2019. He spent his whole childhood suffering from obesity which led him to encounter the low self-esteem problem. The message and motive behind the brand is to promote self confidence, believing in yourself and standout amongst the greatest. He saw a gap in the market for a brand that was created for the fearless go getters who wanna achieve big in life just like him. Creating a clothing brand for the urban youth of SOUTH AFRICA was always one of his ambitions, he followed four steps of success in life which is IMAGINE, CREATE, EXECUTE & DELIVER. Through ambition, hardworking and persistence Interlude is still in business till this day.
